Our products and materials
What kind of leather do you use?
We exclusively use high-quality, full-grain vegetable-tanned leather sourced from the best tanneries in Italy and the UK. Unlike chrome-tanned leather, vegetable tanning is an eco-friendlier process that results in a durable leather that develops a beautiful, unique patina over time.
Why are there small marks or imperfections on my leather item?
As leather is a natural material, slight variations in colour, grain, and texture are part of its unique character and are not considered defects. These marks tell the story of the animal's life and are a sign of genuine, high-quality leather.
Are all your items really handmade?
Yes! Every single Morris & Mole product is designed, cut, stitched, and finished by hand in our small workshop in Chorley, Lancashire. This ensures an exceptional level of care and quality goes into every piece.

Ordering & Payments
How long will my order take to make?
Our making times vary:
- Standard Orders: Are processed and ready for dispatch within 2 business days.
- Custom & Personalised Orders: Please allow up to 7 business days for your unique item to be crafted before it is dispatched.
Can I cancel my order?
If your order is for a non-personalised item, you can cancel it at any time before it has been dispatched for a full refund. Please email us immediately. If your order has already shipped, you will need to follow our returns process. Please note that custom and personalised orders cannot be cancelled once work has begun.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take once my order is dispatched?
We send all orders via Royal Mail's Tracked 48 service, which typically takes 2 to 3 business days to arrive after dispatch. You will receive a tracking number in your shipping confirmation email.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship to addresses within the United Kingdom. We do not offer shipping to the EU or any other international destinations.
I live locally (near PR6), can I get free delivery?
Yes! We offer free local delivery for orders over £25 to addresses within a 5-mile radius of the PR6 postcode. Important: To get this option, you must check out using Shop Pay. It is not compatible with other express payment methods like PayPal or Apple Pay.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy?
For non-personalised items, you can return them within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, provided they are in their original, unused condition. Please see our full Returns Policy for step-by-step instructions.
Why can't I return my personalised item?
As personalised and custom items are made specifically for you, they cannot be resold. For this reason, we cannot accept returns on these items unless they are faulty.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
We package every order with care, but if your item arrives damaged, please email us at morrisandmole@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your order number and photos of the issue so we can resolve it for you quickly.
Who pays for return postage?
For standard returns where you have changed your mind, the customer is responsible for the return postage costs. If an item is faulty, we will cover the cost of the return.
Leather Care
How should I care for my leather goods?
To keep your item looking its best, we recommend the following:
- Avoid prolonged contact with water.
- Be mindful of sharp objects like keys that can scratch the surface.
- Periodically apply a good quality, natural leather conditioner.
- Embrace the marks and scratches that will naturally occur with use – they build the unique character and patina of your item!
